Endosulfan MOA Requirements

Requirements of Endosulfan Memorandum of Agreement

STEP 1 – By December 31, 2010:

Drexel Chemical Company must sell and distribute currently labeled inventory stocks by December 31, 2010.

 

STEP 2 – By May 31, 2011:

Drexel Distribution: Products purchased from Drexel Chemical Company prior to or by December 31, 2010 must be sold to End‐Users by May 31, 2011.

 

STEP 3 – After July 31, 2012:

End‐Users cannot use product bearing previous (older) versions of labeling after July 31, 2012 except for currently approved Special Local Need (FIFRA Section 24(c)).

 

STEP 4 – After July 31, 2012:

End‐Users cannot use product bearing the new label for the following uses after July 31, 2012: Cabbage, Celery (AZ only), Cotton, Cucumbers, Lettuce, Stone fruits not listed above including Nectarine (non‐CA), Peaches, and Sweet cherry, Summer melons (cantaloupe, honeydew, watermelon), Summer squash, Tobacco

 

STEP 5 – After July 31, 2013:

End‐Users cannot use product for the following uses after July 31, 2013: Pears

 

STEP 6 – After December 31, 2014 IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA:

End‐Users cannot use product for the following uses after December 31, 2014 in Florida: Apple, Blueberry, Peppers, Potatoes, Pumpkins, Sweet corn, Tomato, Winter squash

 

STEP 7 – After July 31, 2015:

End‐Users cannot use product for the following uses after July 31, 2015: Apple, Blueberry, Peppers, Potatoes, Pumpkins, Sweet corn, Tomato, Winter squash

 

STEP 8 – After July 31, 2016:

End‐Users cannot use product for the following uses after July 31 2016: Pineapple, Strawberry (perennial/biennial)

 

STEP 9 – After July 31, 2016:

End‐Users cannot use product for ANY crop or use site.
